Elizabeth Dalton nominates new candidates for cabinet

WASHINGTON DC, USA - Less than two days after her first nomination for Vice President failed, Elizabeth Dalton immediately nominated Thomas Colt for the same position. Colt had served extensively in the Department of Homeland Security (unsurprisingly), but swore an oath of allegiance to Attorney General King Rojas on his profile summary - an interesting act for a politician of the United States of America, where such oaths are considered archaic (much like swearing loyalto to a king).

With Dalton running to nominees left and right (as AmericanPatron had removed all other nominees by making them political prisoners) for the vice presidency, many Americans are beginning to question both the legitimacy of Dalton's administration (which has been in question since the moment she came to power) as well as her capability as President of the United States. Dalton has obviously not been taking her time in choosing a wise and cohesive candidate for the office of Vice President. She nominated the Scottish Minister of Foreign Affairs (Raskolnikov716) for the position on February 17th, and is now nominating a soldier of a roleplay intergalactic empire on the 19th.

Dalton also nominated Stefan Kovac, a former Supreme Court associate justice, for the office of Secretary of State. Kovac was a strong advocate of the Russo administration, and was personally affected when Dalton's takeover decimated his rightfully earned office as Speaker of the House (which he resigned from the Supreme Court to be elected into). However, it is inevitable that Kovac will remain the "Chuck Hagel" of the administration - the outcast who was almost deemed a political prisoner by AmericanPatron but narrowly escaped and was instead salvaged for his position. Out of all cabinet nominees, Kovac is perhaps the most well equipped for the job.

Dalton's Deputy Secretary of Defense is Zinoviy Kolobanov, a renowned communist leader in the Russian spectrum of the World War Two community. Kolobanov is the present leader of the Deutsche Demokratische Republik (East Germany), which the United States famously petitioned against to tear down the Berlin wall. It is peculiar that the Dalton administration would break the long and continuous tradition of the United States to oppose communism and other government systems which are dysfunctional in comparison to democracy, and thus are a threat to it.

Deputy Attorney General nominee Serbia Stronkk is a citizen of Cuba, the United Kingdom, Serbia, and Uganda. He also serves as a militant in the armed forces of two of these countries. Stronkk is also in the archives for attempting to join the United States Army, but was rejected under Secretary of Defense Jennifer Hartson's officership for immaturity and lack of coordination. Stronkk played a very minimal role in American politics prior to the Dalton revolution, and can be considered a new addition of the new administration.

Evidently starved for ideas of who to place in the office of U.S. Attorney, Dalton borrowed from President Russo - who she helped to strip of American citizenship and civil rights - and nominated Tormentium for the same office.
