Controversy over "Secretary of Cl!t" legislation from Speaker of House
WASHINGTON DC, USA - At 7:46 PM Eastern Time, a bill entitled Establishment of the Secretary of ‘Cl!t’ (Clit) was put up for vote on the House of Representatives floor by Speaker of the House Luke Solace whom also wrote the piece of legislation.
This bill - like suggested by its name - provides for the establishment of a position called the "Secretary of Clit", which would be added to the presidential cabinet. The position would be appointed by the Speaker of the House and approved by a vote in the House of Representatives.
From a vast array of angles, this legislation is both extremely offensive and politically inappropriate. Not only is it entirely childish to propose in any workplace (whether it's the bathroom at McDonald's or the gleaming Capitol rotunda), the legislation is absolutely disgusting and makes a mockery of the legislative branch.
Speaker Solace disclosed that the legislation was purely for humor. “There is one other person in the house, it was a joke bill. AP [AmericanPatron] won’t kill me for this one.”
However, Solace voted in favor of the bill, intent on it passing the House and progressing to the Senate. It is unconfirmed whether it was actually an April Fool's sentiment or outright immaturity.
For many shocked Americans, the introduction of this legislation only seems to suggest that the Speaker of the House is "about as competent as a toddler that has been exposed to perversion at too young of an age" (according to an anonymous reader).
