Vice President Terence Walsh officially assassinated

WASHINGTON DC, USA - At approximately 10:36 PM EDT on January 18th, 2015, Vice President Terence Walsh was brutally murdered by Jaming Space before the steps of the Capitol Building while conferencing with the Russo administration.

The assassin arrived before the grounds by taxi, and immediately began firing upon Walsh, fatally landing multiple bullets to the skull and his torso with a licensed handgun. President Russo and other administration members were able to flee the area in Marine One, the presidential helicopter, and arrived safely on White House grounds. Local bystander and member of the Republican National Committee Calvin Wilson, was seen leaping about the entire scene obscenely screaming that Space was a Democrat.

Vice President Walsh had been the subject of an investigation by Congress on charges of intimidating a representative. It has not been confirmed whether this was an act of terror committed in anger about his alleged intimidation, but evidence suggests that the motive of the murder may have run through international roots. Space is the Minister of Defense for the Republic of Latvia, and a sergeant in the Italian Armed Forces.

In his press conference immediately following the assassination, at 11:00 PM EDT, President Patrick Russo stated, "It has been the greatest pleasure of my political career to serve in office alongside Terence Walsh and Secretary Jennifer Hartson over the past year." President Russo declined to comment on who he has in mind as a replacement Vice President. Both spectators and Russo attempted to cheer up the somber mood, but were interrupted in their effort when another unidentified individual arrived in the press conference room and proceeded to shoot at the President. Secretary of Defense Jennifer Hartson leaped up and shot down the breacher with an assault rifle, and visitors were rushed out of the White House.

America mourns the tragic death of one of the United States' most esteemed politicians, who has notably served in every position from Senator to Chief Justice. Though he is still eligible to serve in any position other than Vice President, he may take this as his initiative to end his political career and put his microphone to rest.
