US Army hosts joint training with soldiers from Germany and UK

FT. JACKSON COLUMBIA, USA - On January 19th, 2015, Fort Jackson housed an international delegation of soldiers meeting for a combined training where tactics from the three nations of the United States, Germany, and the United Kingdom would be taught.

Soldiers completed various obstacle courses improving and assessing their agility. Afterwards, they experimented with different parachuting techniques and engaged in simulated firearm combat using native strategies - thereby teaching each other how to deal with an unknown or foreign attacking style.

President of the United States Patrick Russo, American Secretary of Defense Jennifer Hartson, and German Minister of Defense MichaelSchreiber attended the event, silently watching Col. John Kohler, CO of the III American Armored Corps, lead the training.

The event yielded approximately 20-30 attendees, a fluctuating 10-13 of which were American soldiers.
