Housing and Urban Development Exercist has begun construction on the Pentagon.

The White House has only released snippets of information regarding the structure of the building- it will have seven storeys, and include everything from the Secretary of Defense's panoramic office on the seventh floor, to a state-of-the-art underground bunker thousands of feet below the surface.

Presently, however, the Pentagon only consists of a lobby/reception area and a series of hallways, leading through brief open spaces and into a large central courtyard. The other wing of the building, which is connected through a walkway in

the snowy and barren central garden, has not been renovated.

The Pentagon will serve as the main headquarters for the Department of Defense (and subsequently, the United States Military), and house agencies pertaining to national security - namely, the NSA (National Security Agency) and CIA (Central Intelligence Agency).

Offices will be provided for the Secretary of Defense, Deputy Secretary of Defense, Director of National Intelligence, Deputy Director of National Intelligence, Director of the NSA, Deputy Director of the NSA, Director of the CIA, Deputy Director of the CIA, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, each of the Joint Chiefs, the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, and the Deputy Secretary of Housing and Urban Development.

There is no estimated deadline or date of completion for the building. (Images were graciously provided by the Department of Homeland Security, who took these screenshots while landing the President of the United States at the facility.) POLITICO White House (updated 8:54 AM EDT, 2015/1/17)
