Russo administration meets with China, amidst security issues

BEIJING, CHINA - At approximately 4:00 PM EDT on January 10th, President of the United States Patrick Russo and his cabinet met with Chairman Zhao Chang, leader of China.

Russo's delegation arrived to meet in Beijing at approximately 4:03, and briefly met with Chairman Zhao at the Ren Min Da Hui Tang (The Great Hall of the People) in

Xicheng, Beijing. The delegation arrived at the location by limousine and ducked inside the building for a quick ceremony in which national anthems of both nations were played. The Chinese and American cabinets then went up a flight of stairs, and were not heard from until after the congregation. Neither the Chinese administration nor the White House have revealed any information on what was discussed in the meeting, but seeing as it was the first assemblage with the new Russo administration, it is strongly suspected that they may have discussed basic foreign diplomacy.

After the meeting - which surprisingly only lasted a few minutes - Russo and a select few members of the American cabinet were seen walking down the steps of the Hui Tang towards a waiting vehicle convoy. Immediately, however, the line of guards was breached and an unidentified individual killed several security officers and severely injured many with the use of an explosive vest.

President Russo was injured to an unknown degree and immediately rushed back inside the Hui Tang. Several further breachers were made by gunmen in an effort to enter the building, but sustained by the Chinese military and American Secret Service. Minutes later, a heavily armed delegation was seen rushing out the back entrance to the building and across six lanes of stopped traffic towards the military base for the Chinese army. Beijing was officially put under martial law following the incident, and the suicide bomber (nor the gunmen) have not been identified.

President Russo hasn't been seen in public since, but it has been confirmed that he has landed safely in Washington DC.
