Congressional elections for 4 vacant seats

WASHINGTON DC, USA - With multiple newly elected Representatives and Senators resigning, mere days after their terms begun, ConElectionsVote has started a vacant seat election to fill the seats of the resigned Congressmen. There are currently four available seats in the House of Representatives and one vacant seat in the Senate.

Although signups flourished, a vast amount of candidates did not fill the requirements specified in the United States Constitution: any person to become a Representative or a Senator must be a citizen for at least two weeks, and a member of ROBLOX for at least two months.

The Supreme Court released a list comprised of twelve candidates that did not meet the qualifications to becoming a member of their respective aspired houses. The list took sixty percent of the candidates from the entire ballot, leaving only one candidate for the Senate and seven candidates for the House.

However, this morning the Supreme Court came to the realization that Calihighs, a candidate for the House of Representatives, made his account on November 21st, which is not two months old. Following this realization, Calihighs was removed from the ballot as well. Xpl123 was also found to be either banned or not exist. On top of all this, two House of Representatives candidates, explosin59 and Brightrose1 dropped out of the race voluntarily, possibly to pursue their careers with the United States Secret Service and Homeland Security in general.

The election ballot now consists of three Representative candidates and one Senate candidate. Whereas there is only one vacant seat in the Senate, the House of Representatives can now only fill three out of four vacant seats.

Yesterday evening, a private debate between candidates ChuckEngel and guy3337 ensued at the Kennedy Debate Hall, hosted by Philip Haynes (DrReli). This was streamed over Twitch via a link provided on the United States group status, and was considered an extremely successful opportunity for the candidates to reach out to American citizens.

Chief Justice Miele, the Supreme Court member responsible for excluding these congressional candidates, states “Yes, election is somewhat counterproductive, although having the Legislative branch comprised of Congressmen and women that do not know the basics of the Constitution would be even more counterproductive.”.

ConElectionsVote released the winners of the race today, concluding the election. RobertBellec won the vacant Senate seat unopposed. PearTime, Guy3337, and ChuckEngel all won seats in the house of Represenatatives.
