Patrick Russo sworn in as President of the United States

WASHINGTON DC, USA - As a new year begins, a new Presidential term begins in the United States as well. At 5:00 PM Eastern Time, sixth President of the United States Patrick Russo was sworn into office by Chief Justice Miele without any verbal or physical interjections by the audience. The inauguration was both successful and an embarrassment from many angles.

President Russo delivered his inaugural address to the nation, reassuring the country that the next term will be both prosperous and beneficial towards the United States and its international recognition. President Russo also addressed the inadmissible state of our Judicial branch. Russo states “Our judicial system is being overhauled to better accommodate real life, in a way that we can consistently depend upon”. As well as our Judicial system, the United States military is also being revolutionized through the “PEMRAA” legislation being brought to Congress by the Russo administration's Secretary of Defense, JenniferHartson. In reiteration of President Russo’s address: “A new age has dawned upon this nation”, and the American people are looking forward to what this new age will bring.

As for the security aspects of the inauguration, the Secret Service and Metropolitan Police Department launched a co-operative protection effort, providing below-expectation security. Although the two departments’ cooperation is admirable, their performance was simply unacceptable. For the duration of the ceremony,

spectators drove civilian grade vehicles into the inauguration, disrupting the cohesiveness of President Russo’s address. In addition, multiple citizens sprinted past Secret Service personnel to be shot down by armed Cabinet members. These sort of security infractions are a nuisance, which require frequent interjection from civilians. Memorably, Chief Justice Miele who ran away from his seat on numerous occasions screaming, with Secretary of Defense Hartson drawing her P226 and launching attacks alongside the Secret Service agents. If there were to be an attempt on either Miele or Russo’s life, the Secret Service and MPD’s incompetence would have been responsible.

President Russo spoke to the entire Secret Service regarding the incidents following the inauguration, saying “Easy stuff passed you all” and “This inauguration was embarrassing”.

All security infractions aside, the inauguration ceremony was successful. On this most auspicious and historic days for our nation, citizens can sleep well knowing that President Russo plans to uphold his oath and defend our nation to the best of his abilities.
