NATO opens economics council
BRUSSELS, BELGIUM - The North Atlantic Treaty Organization is an international alliance whose basis is to help countries within it. Until this point, it has mainly specialized in distributing military support - which led to the private military corporation ATLAS, gaining limited entry to NATO.
NATO also has a military committee - currently chaired by JenniferHartson, the United States Secretary of Defense (as of January 1st 2015) - and the NRF (NATO Response Forces), led by Supreme Commanding General of the North Atlantic, JackRockwell (Director of the American Secret Service as of January 1st 2015).
Secretary General DrReli has put an economics council "in storage" up until this point, bureaucratically selecting ShadowRaven99 (the President of the Philippines) to chair it. He has requested that, like the military committee, countries which are members of NATO (exempting ATLAS, as it is not a country) send a delegate to represent them in the council.
It appears that the economics council exists to support nations' expenditures by appropriating large subsidiaries among them. Secretary General DrReli states, "The [council] has over 300,000 Tix to distribute as aide". Although no officials have confirmed where 300,000+ Tix appeared overnight, it is widely alleged and believed that the revenue was generated by the widely popular corporation, Kestrel - which DrReli is President and Executive Owner of. It is speculated that the United States - which has recently been bypassed by Verbero's USA in population - would make some attempt to request a subsidiary from NATO in order to launch more advertisements. This would most likely be left to the Russo Administration to take, but no official confirmation has been stated on that.
